"Jessie" will be available for download from iTunes and Amazon.com beginning next Tuesday, February 9. To celebrate, we're launching a lip-syncing video contest! Here's how it works:
1. Listen to Jessie at www.purevolume.com/thebiggerlights.
2. Make a video of yourself lip-syncing to Jessie.
3. Upload your video to www.sendspace.com and e-mail it to tblcontest@doghouserecords.com (do not e-mail files directly; they'll be too huge!)
Submissions are due at 11:59pm on February 12, 2010.
The best video will win the following:
** Their video posted right here on our official MySpace page.
** Free copies of our upcoming full-length album and Fiction Fever EP.
** An autographed poster.

Wednesday, January 20th 2010Mansions Doghouse Records is looking to acquire some bees illustration to make a few hand-screened limited (to about 50) 11x17 poster for Mansions latest release, Best of the Bees.
And we need you're help! Here's how you can do it.
1. Draw some bees
2. E-mail your hi-res drawing to mansionscontest@doghouserecords.com
(send a yousendit or sendspace link if over 10MB) along with your name and location
3. All the best drawings will be included in the final hand-screened 11x17 poster (with name credited)
4. All selected will also receive a copy of the poster in the mail
5. One overall winner will receive the entire Mansions discography thus far (self-titled EP, New Best Friends,The EP Initiative, Thyme Travel)
