The All-American Rejects have finally achieved what bands like Student Rick and Ozma have previously tried and failed to do, namely, combine the pop sensibilities and melodic song craft of new-school pop-punk with the keyboard and drum machine driven sound of indie pop bands like The Anniversary (or at least their old stuff). This record practically oozes catchiness; think Drive-Thru Records meets Reggie and The Full Effect. Unlike many records of a similar persuasion, the keyboards and drum programming on this album are not overly-emphasized, and by their subtleness, add considerably to the overall sonic depth. Good songwriting and crisp production courtesy of Tim O-Heir (Superdrag) make The All-American Rejects national debut a winner. - Daniel Taylor

The band are setting up acoustic gigs in the parking lots of the venue before the show. Friday, January 09th 2009Jet Lag Gemini Playing with BaysideHead to The Crazy Donkey at 1058 route 110 in Farmingdale, NY to catch Jet Lag Gemini, Bayside and Punchline. Jet Lag Gemini recently released their new single Fit To Be Tied which is accompanied with a kick ass video featuring a car explosion! The band also finished up a recent tour with The All-American Rejects where they raffled off a signed guitar to one lucky winner and raised $1,166 for the Invisible Children Fund.
