About Chamberlain:The roots of Chamberlain are planted in the Indianapolis band Split Lip, a juggernaut of the Midwestern hardcore scene between 1991 and 1995. Signed to Doghouse Records when its members were scarcely able to drive, Split Lip (singer David Moore, guitarists Adam Rubenstein and Clay Snyder, bassist Curtis Mead and drummer Charles Walker) released the now impossible-to-find "Soulkill" single in 1992, followed by its debut album F...
Chamberlain found they had enough in common with fellow Indiana natives Old Pike to do this split with them. Since Chamberlain's first release was the remixed Split Lip record, Fate's Got A Driver, this split is actually the band's first completely new record. Each band plays music with a Midwestern flavor that is both genuine and passionate. Old Pike ended up going on to the majors!

Wednesday, October 21st 2009Split Lip/Chamberlain Announces NYC ShowSplit Lip/Chamberlain have announced another reunion show, this time at the Bowery Ballroom in NYC on December 7th. Tickets go on sale tomorrow, Thursday, October 22nd at noon. The openers should be announced soon. The show is 18+ and costs $19.
Thursday, June 25th 2009David Moore On Issue OrientedDavid Moore, along with his Chamberlain bandmate Adam Rubenstein, stopped by Issue Oriented recently for interview and performance. The video is a performance of the song "Jericho," which is on the recently released My Lover, My Stranger. The episode should be available next week.
