| BIOGRAPHY These Enzymes began as a side project in the back of The All-American Rejects tour bus in England. During the fall 2003 while traveling through The UK Mike Kennerty, Chris Gaylor and Neil Rubenstien began writing and recording songs as These Enzymes. Once back in The States, the band enlisted long time friend Andrew Palmer to play bass. Basically, members of other bands that don't sound anything like this band come together to confuse people. Think The All-American Rejects meets Converge? These Enzymes enlisted Matt Squire (The Explosion, Thrice, Northstar) to produce their debut EP Henry. Recorded in early July at Squire's studio in Maryland, the resulting EP is a 5 song barrage of blistering hardcore that is constantly breaking new ground. The band impressed fans during a US in the Spring of 2004 when These Enzymes shared stages with Motion City Soundtrack, Sugarcult, Fear Before The March of Flames, Cursed, and Taking Back Sunday. |
